BenefitsOS is a trade name of Anthony Michael Roumell LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the website benefitsos.net and provide HR, benefits administration, and employee management services to civil and environmental engineering firms in San Diego County and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or communicate with us — including via SMS/text message.

By accessing our website or providing your information through any of our forms, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the website or submit personal information.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Policy

BenefitsOS may send you SMS/text messages to the mobile phone number you provide. By providing your phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages from BenefitsOS.

4.1 What Messages We Send

If you opt in to receive text messages from BenefitsOS, you may receive messages related to:

  • Demo and appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups

  • Responses to your inquiries or support requests

  • Service updates, onboarding information, and account notifications

  • Promotional messages about BenefitsOS features, offers, and tips (only if you have separately opted in to marketing messages)

4.2 Consent & Opt-In

You consent to receive SMS messages from BenefitsOS when you:

  • Submit a form on our website and check the box agreeing to receive text messages

  • Provide your phone number during a demo request and acknowledge our texting terms

  • Verbally or in writing request that we contact you via text message

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from BenefitsOS. You may opt out at any time (see Section 4.4 below).

4.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 5 messages per month depending on your engagement with our services. Transactional messages (such as appointment reminders) are sent as triggered by your actions and do not count toward the marketing message limit.

4.4 Opt-Out / STOP

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.

After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. You may also opt out by emailing us at [email protected] or calling us and requesting to be removed from our text messaging list.

4.6 Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. BenefitsOS is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier for sending or receiving text messages.

4.7 Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4.8 No Sharing of SMS Data

We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or personal information collected through our SMS program to any third party.

Your phone number and opt-in data will only be shared with our SMS service provider (used solely to facilitate message delivery) and will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We work with third-party vendors who help us operate our business (e.g., CRM platforms, email services, SMS delivery providers, analytics tools). These providers access information only as needed to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data.

  • Platform Partner: BenefitsOS is powered by Employee Navigator. Information you provide as part of the BenefitsOS platform may be processed through Employee Navigator's infrastructure in accordance with their privacy practices.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze website traffic, and understand usage patterns. Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website.
